Nice atmosphere, we came to eat pizza invited on a birthday, and it was tasty, but one of the waitresses was a little bit rude, he kept coming and asking if we wanted something else to order, although we ordered bruschetta as an appetizer and we couldn‘t finish the pizza. I felt under pressure at some point.

Even "Da Fancesco" is far away from the inner tourist area of Vienna, it's definitely worth it to travel there, since it is the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to! It's still easy to travel there with public transport from Viennas inner city. Just take the tram "31" from Schottenring to Stammersdorf - from there it is just a couple of minutes by foot. Da Francesco offers delicious and authentic Italian dishes - from Pizza to pasta, fish, great desserts etc. Made with mostly imported products directly from Italy and with lots of love, each dish tastes absolutly fantastic. Francesco and his employees will always give you a warm and friendly welcome. It's relaxed like dining at a friends house. I can warmly recommend visiting and having one (or more) of the great dishes that are offered.

The service was excellent, the waiters were amazing, but the pizza was a little tasteless. 😬 It wasn't the flavour I chose cause I was in a group, we all had pizza, I tried other flavours, and none of them were really tasty. 😟 The dough was delicious, though! 🤩 Light, fluffy, and fresh. But the patio was a little dirty, and there was not a single napkin on our table. 😩 The place has potential, cause the staff is great and the pizza dough is wonderful, but it's a little rough around the edges... needs a bit of attention to details.

real italian food in the middle of "heurigen" area, just where you wouldn t expect it. nice, old school interior and a birch fired wood oven that guarantees fantastic pizze. has a big garden as well, must be really nice in summer too.

Went for a weekend pizza. The quality of the service and food dropped, compared to other times we were there. As we didn't have the reservation, the owner and the waitress treated us with a lot of annoyance as if they made us a big favour of accomodating us at a table. When it came to paying the bill, I wanted to pay by card only to be told by the owner that card payments are accepted as of 50€ - nowhere at the place it is noted that paying by card is only possible as 50€ - it felt more like the owner made that rule up on the spot seeing that our bill was 36€.
